about this project:
seeds of renewal translates a peach-seed morphology and an eeg-informed acoustic relief into a small family of objects for kazerne’s “human = non-human” at dutch design week 2024. we realized the coffee and bedside tables and the acoustic panel in econitWood via large-format 3d printing, keeping the seed’s fine ridges legible and preparing clean interfaces for mounting. the panel geometry comes from the cowave pipeline, which steers the pattern toward positive brainwave responses; we carried that data into manufacturable layer paths and a stable wall piece. the project links a clear formal driver with a printable wood composite suited to interior use, without excess material or molds.
